Welcome to the continuation of my own curated dog and cat food under the Paws brand which will continue to be available via this local online marketplace. I am passionate about sourcing healthy and quality produced food and treats for your pets the Paws brand is integral in this ethos and now extending its availability online.

Many in Hitchin will know me, Caroline Smith, as the owner of its independent pet shop, Paws Fur & Fin, which traded from Bancroft in Hitchin since 2017. In early 2025 I decided to close our retail shop due to economics on the high street and my forthcoming retirement. One of my priorities has been to maintain access to my own branded high meat content quality dog and cat food and related treats. In March 2025 I added a well-researched and newly launched hydrolysed veterinary diet which extends the Paws range to assist in the treatment of certain conditions (gastrointestinal, weight and joint or skin and coat). I continue to be the Paws range product owner with active involvement in product supply, oversight and potential line extensions. I have intermittently owned family pet shops since 1984 and also worked in corporate support and management. Pets have always been a passion consistently with guinea pigs since 1979, family cats and dogs for the past 10 years. I currently share my life with two German Spitz and an Australian Silky Terrier, cats, guinea pigs and chickens in Shefford.
